Hey, I've never used this site before, however I was recently given the idea of moving into the server-security/sysadmin business on this site, due to my experience.

So, here I am.

I used to do things on the blackhat side of the field. And, now that I have had so many years of experience with that, I know the way it all works, helping me to defend against it.

I will name a few of my past practices/interests, and things I can now help defend against due to my understanding of the attacker(s) mindset.

• DDoS and DoS (via CNC, buffer overflow exploitation, and/or local service crashing)
• System, network, and webapp penetration testing (unauthorized)
• Breaching of system-crucial services/daemons (via bruteforce, credential spraying, LFI/RFI exploitation, XSS, and much more)
• Reverse engineering (process analysis, system-level analysis, network-traffic analysis, ELF analysis, and data extraction)
• Social engineering (Person-to-person, electronic, phishing/spear-phishing, psychological manipulation. [Also familiar with Identity theft])
• Cryptography (Cryptocurrencies, file data obfuscation, text obfuscation)
• Forensics (Finding people/information along with finding connections between points (material or psychological)

Not to mention still having contacts in that community to give me information on up-and-coming 0days and exploits.

I would like to make it clear that I do (obviously), have a criminal background, and am not trying to hide that, but I want to use it to my advantage and be able to make a legal, professional job of it.

Have you tried hackforums (I know, full of skids, but worth a shot)? There are places out there which would benefit from your services.

I get exactly what you mean, but that is why I chose this as my platform.
My thought process is that people are targeting MC servers and breaching them (to grief, rig ftop, dump IPs, etc), and it is becoming a pretty decently sized issue.
I can confidently do actual industry-tier security audits, and system administration, in order to help protect from that issue.

Not to mention, I too am a teenager man.

Lastly, fuck HackForums, I support the suggestion, but you gotta remember all the BS I would have to do to even become remotely trusted in a tub of snakes like that.

Hello and welcome to the community! My advise is to offer a few vouch copies and build up a few rep and a some for a portfolio or that you can show potential clients! Then start advertising and it will start out slow, but in time it will get going! I wish you the best of luck here!
