Shockbyte is $2.50/GB and offers excellent service. I highly recommend you give them a try.

their good but dedicated ip is $5 monthly pfft no way
That is a very valid point, I must admit. However if you don't mind paying a little extra cash or don't plan on getting a dedicated IP, I think they're one of the best hosts in their price range.

$1/GB?? Even with owned hardware in a halfway decent DC, they'd be overselling big time. Speaking with a live chat agent is no good either. He couldn't give me a solid answer as to where they host the Minecraft servers, and why they're so cheap. Overall super sketchy. I would avoid them until they can get their act together.

They're also not running a valid version of WHMCS.

Shockbyte ($2.50/GB) is good. Also Host-Atom ($3/GB) would be worth a try. I have yet to try them out though, but their reviews are solid.

With any host you will find positive and navigate reviews, as none of us are perfect. I see you have mainly been looking at budget hosts in the $2 range, remember you get what you pay for. When looking for a host you should also consider the location they use compared to where your players will be, if they are a legit company (if that concerns you) meaning they took the time to do things by law, what hardware they run, and support, will you need 24/7 managed or unmanaged. Price is not the only thing to be looking at if you want to grow a halfway decent server.

Feel free to add me on Skype if you wish.
