It can hold whatever you decide to put on it. It would depend on the size of plans your offering. If your doing KVM VPS's you can do 1/4 core, fair share or dedicated cores. If your doing OpenVZ which in reality should perform better than KVM because it doesn't do full emulation and consumes far less resources.

If your asking where to start your pricing id say 50GB SSD / 1GB RAM around $10 month if OpenVZ, KVM 4GB RAM / 50GB SSD around $7/month. Remember this is not pricing to compete with other MC host the pricing I would offer with that CPU.

To keep your profit margin high try and find a colo that's around $60-$100/month that can offer a bandwidth blend with Tier1 carriers. To maximize profit you want to have the best bandwidth blend you can as well as good ddos protection.

Dbuffed is absolutely correct. It really depends on how you market it and price it. We offer colocation in London starting at £50/U if you're interested. In the meantime, I'd suggest:

- Write up a business plan, figure out how much you need to make per month to make a profit. Don't forget to really consider how much your service is valued at, while a lot of people here charge ~$2, it doesn't mean that's the only price to offer.

EDIT: I've added you on discord (my tag is elliot#0001) so you can ask any questions there. :)

Totally in accordance with what Dbuffed, I recommend 64GB to take advantage of CPU, this CPU is powerful enough to work with 64GB or 128GB and thus be able to get the most out of each U, is a v4 CPU and will not have a large consumption of electricity compared to other older ones, but remember, that it is a powerful processor and will consume.

We can offer you Colocation prices in Dallas Texas, Amsterdam Netherlands or Spain Barcelona.

Contact me if you are interested Marc Iglesias#6195

Don't wait to upgrade the RAM. Remote hands is expensive as hell too.

Edit: not to mention if the RAM is defective or a motherboard RAM slot is defective. You'll find that figuring out the issue would be a nightmare you're under pressure to troubleshoot while they're charging you $100+/hour.

He has mentioned he Colocate his server, so it is better send server with the RAM installed, so he does not have pay $100/h to update in the future.

I live nearby the DC + the DC offers free hardware installation. (Free hardware installation service. Sent your hardware to the datacenter and a engineer will add it the same day)
