I'm in the process of developing a Minecraft server and am in need of talented developer(s). The job role would consist of developing new and existing plugins in Java while maintaining good communication within the team. I'm primarily looking for a professional and well experienced developer that is willing to become a part of our team, and to be affiliated with the network as well as being able to dedicate necessary amount of time towards this project.
It's worth noting that two previous highly experienced Java software engineers have worked on the project but aren't able to commit more time due to other obligations. This project has a half-built repository with extensive in-depth documentation for you to follow (plugin manual).
Requirements:
• Good experience with Java.
• Strong understanding of Bukkit and Spigot API.
• Intimate knowledge of Minecraft NMS code.
• Professionally proficient in English and frequent communication (near-daily basis).
• At least 18 years of age (for non-disclosure agreement) or 16 (if cosigned by parent or guardian).
• A strong candidate will have previous public plugins available or repository hosted projects.
Time:
Estimated to be one month, however this can change with other factors. Upon completion of the project we may be interested in keeping the applicant on for further work (more projects planned).
Payments:
Can be delivered to you via PayPal. Prices are completely negotiable and will be dependent upon the amount of quality and work done. We’ll discuss this in more depth at a later date.
Initial Plugin $250
Finished Plugin $500
Tasks:
• Documenting (writing notes) on current and new code, explaining each functions purpose (when necessary).
• Examining current code, dissecting and then re-using relevant data for the new plugin.
• The plugin we are working on controls every aspect of a Minecraft server, you must already be familiar with Bukkit and Spigot API.
• Communicate progress through Skype or Discord.
