I am looking to hire a skilled TypeScript developer to maintain and improve multiple existing web projects. All websites are fully built in TypeScript, and the codebase is extensive, so you must be confident working with large and complex systems. Your responsibilities will include fixing bugs, adding new features, maintaining the web server, managing databases, and handling API integrations. I will not always provide a full task plan, you should be able to review the system and understand what needs to be done.

Project Details:
  • Maintain and improve three existing websites
  • All projects are 100% TypeScript-based
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Web server maintenance (bug fixes, performance, stability)
    • Database management (queries, optimization, schema understanding)
    • API integration and updates
    • Adding new features when needed
    • Debugging and refactoring complex code
    • Understanding and navigating large, older codebases
  • This is an ongoing position with monthly payment
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with TypeScript (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL, migrations, performance, etc.)
  • Ability to work with large and unfamiliar codebases
  • Can solve problems independently without a full task list
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and consistent workflow

  1. We don’t have any users yet, as the server is still in development.
  2. We’re facing quite a few technical challenges right now, and I’d prefer to discuss the details over Discord.
  3. As for the timeline, I’m flexible, whatever works best for you is fine.
