Hiring Developer for Cross-Server Factions Project

Hey everyone,


I’m currently looking for an efficient and experienced developer to join my team for a large-scale Factions server project. We’re building a high-quality network focused on performance, scalability, and smooth cross-server systems.

Position Details​

We need someone who is fluent in:

• Java (Spigot/Paper environment)
• MongoDB
• Redis
• Kafka
• MariaDB

The ideal candidate has experience working with cross-server communication systems, data synchronization, and custom plugin development. You’ll be working alongside other devs to bring innovative gameplay systems and backend features to life.

Compensation​

$15/hour to start,
with the opportunity for increased pay once the server launches and begins generating revenue.

About the Project​

The server is a modern take on Factions, designed with performance and player experience in mind. We already have a strong foundation in place — we’re just looking for an extra hand to help accelerate development and refine backend systems.

Requirements​

• Proven experience with Java plugin development
• Strong understanding of optimization and clean code structure
• Familiarity with asynchronous data handling and distributed systems
• Good communication and availability for collaboration
