Job Responsibilities
Content development at ReWrite is a collaborative process involving the input of all staff members at all stages of development. Our ideal mechanic has strong opinions on game and narrative design and isn't afraid to speak up.
What we are looking for from you:
- Ability to speak, message, and have a conversation at a native English level
- Have a microphone (This is a remote job!)
- Be able to work by yourself and with a team
- Self-organized and able to work on a project without frequent monitoring
What would be required of you:
- Consulting on the initial design of content such as adventure maps and minigames
- Working with our team to design and create incredible mechanics for functional content
- Cleaning up or completing mechanics started by other staff members or creators
- Working with Pathway clients to provide assistance, advice or collaboration on projects
What would give you extra points:
- Previous experience with the Minecraft Marketplace
- Previous experience with behavior packs
"Mechanics" includes work with command blocks, functions, redstone, behavior packs, and other means of implementing gameplay in Minecraft maps.
