Hello. Our team at Amaron is looking to hire someone to our Lead Developer position.

| ABOUT US

Amaron is an aspiring Network that went into development stages in late March of 2020. The first two game modes we're releasing include an MMORPG style SkyBlock experience, with questing, skills, combat, incredible immersion, and much more. It's an incredibly complicated and custom coded world we've already put a lot of work into creating. Our second gamemode is a competitive style season based SkyBlock experience, very different from our other gamemode. We have plans to release many more game modes as well as minigames, and other things like that, upon our server.

| OUR TEAM

Our team currently includes 4 main members.

- An Owner and Team Manager, who handles all finances, advertisement, creator relations, and other similar things.

- A Creative Director/Lead Game Designer who creates, balances, formats, and manages all content and related server information

- A JR Developer who helps design and develop features, and will work under our Development Lead.

- A Community Manager who helps handle the staff team, forums, and a lot more upon server release.

| OUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT

We have a friendly and very communicative work environment, where we're on calls most days of the week, working together on creation of the server. We all speak English, work in very similar time zones, and are all involved in the progression of the server. Amaron is also an incredibly professional and efficient team. We use programs such as ClickUp for information and task management, and time scheduling and tracking apps such as Time Doctor. If you're interested in joining, please make sure you're ready to begin using or learn how to use those programs, and how to be an efficient working member of the team.

| ABOUT THE POSITION

On our team, the Lead Developer would be in charge of the development of most server features, the fixing of bugs and issues, and the management of both the Quality Assurance and Development teams. It is not a small undertaking, and requires not only a high level of commitment but also a good amount of experience. This position is of course a paid position. If interested, you can find an application form below. If your application is accepted (acceptance is a review process, not a confirmation you got the position) please be ready to be interviewed.

| BEFORE APPLYING

Please note the following requirements before submitting an application:

- You must be at least 18 years old.

- You must have at least a decent amount of prior experience developing Minecraft servers or plugins.

- You must be ready for the time commitment. You'll be expected to clock in hours every day you're working, and will be expected to treat this like a professional job, as it absolutely is.

- You must be comfortable working alongside and managing others. This team is not a separated front, we work together, are incredibly organized, and as a Development Lead you must be ready to manage the developers under you.

- You must be comfortable (and able to) sign a contract and legally binding paperwork regarding your position here. This is for your safety as well as our own.

| APPLICATION
Please fill out the application here: https://forms.gle/UkwcKKjrRq6AgYH38

| ADDITIONAL NOTES

- We are looking to fill this position as fast as we can. With that being said, if you put in an application expect a reply within 12 hours, and potentially even an interview scheduled the same day if possible.

We did make a post previously. This went very, very poorly. The response was very bad based on some things that were stated, so we adjusted this to be a bit more informative and hopefully able to not cause such a problem.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I apologize for all those who trashed your previous thread. What they failed to take into account was the amount of work, as that's unknown to them all. If it takes them 6 hours per week to do, then they would have made $20/hr.

That being said, please add me on Discord at Extensy#4042. I have a proposal for you and a situation to explain which bars me from taking the usual route of the application link you posted.

I look forward to hearing from you,

- Ex.

This is completely accurate. I changed the age from 18 to 17 when making the adjustments previously stated.

The good thing is though, from a legal perspective, we can have parental approval if required.

Most quality and experienced developers would need a bit more than "Paid of course". No offense to you but seems like a lot of people on this website just waste other ppls time.

I understand that for sure, but that cycle goes both ways sadly. Most devs that reach out are dead ends. Gotta meet in the middle somewhere here.

The payment is a reasonable amount according to a lot of devs I have spoken with, but to others on here it apparently isn't (even know they didn't completely understand the workload).
