Role Overview: We're seeking an experienced Server Manager who understands the heartbeat of a thriving SMP community. This isn’t just about keeping the server online—it’s about creating a living, breathing world where players want to log in every day. The right person should have hands-on experience operating SMP servers, configuring plugins, working with texture/resource packs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll be collaborating closely with the owner (that’s you!) and any moderators or developers to build out content, events, and an epic player experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the SMP server, ensuring stability and uptime.,
• Configure and manage plugins, datapacks, and server settings for optimal gameplay.,
• Work with texture/resource packs to ensure compatibility and enhance the player experience.,
• Collaborate with builders and devs on new features, events, or seasonal content.,
• Monitor and moderate the community alongside the staff team.,
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues quickly and efficiently.,
• Stay up to date on Minecraft updates, plugins, and community trends.,

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing SMP or similar Minecraft servers.,
• Strong understanding of SMP gameplay mechanics and community dynamics.,
• Familiarity with configuring plugins like Essentials, LuckPerms, Dynmap, Grief Prevention (or similar).,
• Experience working with texture/resource packs (installing, troubleshooting, customizing).,
• Basic knowledge of server hosting environments (console commands, FTP, etc.).,
• Strong communication and leadership skills.,
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.,

Bonus Points:

• Experience with creating custom events or quests.,
• Light development knowledge (config editing, JSON, YAML).,
• Understanding of marketing/community growth strategies.,
