Paragon MC is looking to recruit a level-headed individual with a can-do attitude to their projects. There may be a chance that you are asked to join/transfer to another project in the future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing well-designed projects
This will take up most of your time on the network. You'll be provided with a PDF document and example configuration files that extensively outline the project.
Fixing bugs from other plugins
You won't just be developing your own projects, but also fixing bugs in other plugins, given the source code, where required.
Liaising with community members
Where required, you may be asked to get feedback from the community regarding the network plugins and write community updates in the Discord server, or forums.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with Spigot/Bukkit & BungeeCord
- Experience with MySQL
- A proactive approach to work
- Good programming standards
- Ability to write user documentation/community updates
- Ability to work to deadlines
We aren't requiring a certain number of years of experience, but you should be more than capable with the above.
THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a level-headed person with a can-do attitude to their work. By "level-headed", we mean that you should be willing to work proactively as a part of a team, and "can-do attitude" refers to completing extra work where required - our documentation cannot cover every single aspect of the project, so at times you may be asked to add a small additional feature midway or after the project. The type of person we're looking for shouldn't have a problem with the aforementioned.
Note: You will be paid for any major extra features that are requested. The above refers to small changes.
For development projects, most of the time, you will be paid per project. Payment will be calculated fairly based upon what it is worth and how much time should be spent on it. For other small tasks such as fixing bugs and writing community updates, you will be paid per hour on the first of every month at a competitive rate.
APPLY
To apply for the position, send MrSwalbert#0001 a short introduction of yourself, detailing why you should be considered, and information of any previous projects that you've worked on.
