Requirements:
- 16+
- Bungeecord Plugin Making Experience
- Follow Google's Java Conventions
- Know how to use Github and can push daily commits

It's like putting as a requirement "Should use maven and not Gradle", it's not a skill, it's a work pattern you would like to have at your development environment.
In requirements, you should put skills.

I feel that if you dont use Google's coding conventions, your code will be harder for other devs to build on in the future.

The requirement is there to be more.. uniform.

What SwagiWagi means is not that it shouldn't be used but rather just not listed as a requirement. Instead it should just be something you tell the hired developer(s) to use as a preference.
