You didn't read the post, that is minimum. We can pay a hell of a lot higher than that. It all depends on if the developer would want more shares within the server rather than pay.

The starting pay is low as they will spend some initial time learning the game mode as it is an already established and well anticipated as per the post. After becoming proficient in understanding the game mode pay increases

I don't know what your experience with recruitment is but it doesn't work like that. Shares within the game mode can be valued extremely high to the popularity of the game mode as stated. Having around 4k unique login attempts after 1 week of closed beta doesn't speak for itself, I don't know what does. Low pay during closed beta will be simply due to lower revenue with lower players. Upon open beta we would likely have multiple servers spanning hundreds of players which would enable us to give a much larger pay. The pay will eventually cap as a reasonable and fair amount agreed upon with the developer. This would take into account their experience and contribution.

We get 0.01 dollars an hour with your minimum which you won't change ~ I know how this goes: "oh well you made the plugins very well and high quality but hmmm well you see aaahhh you didn't make them very well and high quality so i'm not gonna raise your pay and it will be 0.01 dollars an hour aka 100 dollars a month"

Another average MC market user not reading the thread or the comments below which answer your exact concern which you mentioned right there. Is your math based on the fact they would be working 24/7? Are you seriously that naive or that stupid anyone would ask that?

I will repeat again that it minimum pay, rock bottom. The pay increases as well as shares (if chosen) On a multitude of factors as mentioned all over this thread.

I'm glad I worded the post the way I did, it acts as a stupidity barrier to stop idiots and time wasters contacting me. I can safely say the developers who have contacted me have the logical understanding to know they most likely will not be paid $100 / month.
