If my support was being managed by someone that was taught within a few hours I would get the heck out of there.

Looking at business in that perspective is dumb.
its simple stuff..

Not all the time, many times i've done support for people and their support isn't "simple".

I mean, looking at it as "simple" isn't the right way to consider it.
i tested them asked them professional questions and they got it right
with just a few hours of training...

If you're asking non technical related questions I suppose so..
Frankly, the only mistake the dude made was telling MCM that his staff were only trained for 3 hours. Minecraft servers don't break for no reason(and when they do the level 1 tech is not going to be handling it), and I doubt he's even teaching much about fixing Minecraft servers at all, probably more along the lines on how to handle billing and sales.

You're fooling yourself if you don't think anyone can run a Minecraft server. ;) I bet they're really mainly looking for people professional enough to be staff for them. That would come first if I was looking to hire anyone.
