Honest Opinions on Game?

Hello everyone,

The idea that i'm about to present has been curated by a friend of mine and me. We already have a youtuber who'll be advertising it for us. But before we indulge ourselves with our time, money, and effort we would really appreciate it if we could get some honest feedback.


Idea:

You're able to create a team, with your team you can claim chunk(s). The claim doesn't protect the blocks at all, instead the claim makes it so that if a raider comes and breaks a block you will be notified (both have to be online for a raid to commence), and given a tp. If defender is offline then you cannot raid/break any blocks, unless they've been offline for more than 72 hours.



What he hoped to do:

Retain much of vanilla minecraft, but add in a fair raiding system.
We expect to have 20-50+ players. (hopefully, haha)



Anyway, what would you do to make this better, what are some turn offs? Or does the game sound perfect.

no idea to long to read. Just read the title and made my spectacular comment.

what you are describing is the "Kingdom plugin" or a remake of it. Its basically a factions turned into towny. My suggestion is make it more unique cause honestly anything relating to "kingdom" is boring after a while.

Hm, i've never heard of "kingdom" will go ahead and check it out. We don't want to become towny, our objective was to retain much of vanilla minecraft whilst making it fair play.

Seems really cool, again does sound a bit like kingdoms. What I would like to see is like, team outposts. So you can mine resources for you're town as it is, however. You can get 'Mines' that automine resources into a bank or something in your town. Same with LumberJack - Wood and other resources required.

Oh interesting, the addition of a mine sounds cool. However, would this make us "officially" towny? We want to be more on the faction/hcf side, but before all of the additions were made making the game as complex as it is, we want to revert back.

I wouldn't class this as "officially" towny however the Towny server I used to play was sh*t to be honest so I'm not sure what true towny is like. If you want to avoid that you could do Training Camps. So you train you're weaponary at these camps and say team Blue has the base they get 125% EXP while training whereas because you're red and you dont own the training camp, you only get 100%. Giving Incentive to try and capture the Training camp.
