Other than working with Spigot/Paper configs, is there any reliable way to optimize hoppers for large amounts of items? I'd assume plugins wouldn't be the best at this, but would like to see what others do for this. Thanks in advance.
Using Taco (Beer's fork), still need more optimization.Plugins don’t really do anything, it’s got to be coded right into the server jar, TacoSpigot claim to have good optimisation for hoppers.
Mind sharing? If you are using Beer's Jar (as am I) and still need more optimizations I would look into a better hopper configuration within the yml's. I have found a perfect set of numbers and they work flawlessly.
I'm okay, thank youI have a custom factions spigot idk if you are interested PM

crop hoppers next step is rewrite hopper mathUsing Taco (Beer's fork), still need more optimization.
Already using both mob and crop hoppers, it's just a matter of making players use them over a 3,000 hopper system xDIf you already have slowed down hoppers (in your spigot.yml) by a lot, and I mean a lot and see very high usage from hoppers, I would suggest CropHoppers (If you run a factions servers and are seeing lag from farms) or spigot optimizations to hoppers.
