Host Community Events

I have been questioning the dedication to this market for a while now..
I know MANY have, and I am thinking we should add some more fun for members.
Adding something like events for users would be super cool, and a fun community bonding experience.

How it would work ?
We would put events up on the market, (hosted by staff or mick himself, or hire an event coordinator) and they host events for market prizes, or Paypal prizes.
The prizes can be small, or large, and members would have to answer a question or use there strategy, to figure it out.

Example of one?
MC-Market clue hunt, the market is scattered with clues, find one, and go on your journey, winner to find and guess what the entire list of clues is about, wins a prize.

Let me know your comments, I think this would add something never seen before on a market, and would make users more active, and having a GOOD time.

There is no reason to disagree with this suggestion. It’s all positive in my eyes. We’ve done contests and events in the past.

But I think we can all agree that there is a matter of priorities. Until we can clear the backlog and actually have free time to twiddle our thumbs. We’d probably hold off on those events if they are needed to be arranged by staff.

I wouldn't call the backlog done. There are still some mod reports/reputation disputes to go through.
Scam reports, while all of them have been approved, they have not all been dealt with. So I would say now is still not the time for events.

We are only inching closer and closer though, so still might as well keep this relevant.

MC-Market, especially our staff team, is in a better place than it ever has been in my opinion. I feel like we are ready to have a new contest released now that we're doing well with most things, it's just a matter of planning and executing one that will take some time.

Has anyone got more ideas about which contest we should hold?
