Host making alts to promote their own business?

So we all know alting is against the forums rules. My question for that would be, what is the actual punishment for doing so? I have seen several people making alternate account to promote themselves on their thread, and I truly wonder why they haven't been banned off the forums yet.

The punishment is 5 warning points, therefore technically a person can do that 15 times before getting banned.

So MCM literally lets people doing shady business get away with it and just give them a small warning? What the hell

I guess in a way, the users see to some of the punishment for this kind of thing. Say if a host posts a thread, and starts making accounts to vouch for themselves, if they get found out by people, they are likely going to get called out for it on their profile and thread. I know if I was picking a host and saw several people saying they are making accounts to vouch for themselves, I’d probably avoid them.

Surprisingly people still believe the warnings are far too large and the points should expire. So I guess it could be a lot worse.

There is a guy named Drizzy literally making alt accounts to ask other people annoying questions and to make his own thread look good lol. Check this out:
