Hosting companies - Have you considered this advertising method?

I believe many Minecraft players at some point wanted to start their own server. Many don’t know about MC-Market or even where to start and find a hosting company. Have you considered paying Minecraft servers to run announcements in the chat to promote your hosting company? I think this would be very affective way to advertise and would be able to get many customers who always wanted to start their own server but never known where to begin. You wouldn’t have the competition like you would on here and you could probably scale up your prices as you would be targeting players that are less educated on hosting & possibly younger players.

Many hosters already do this, like pebble host. Servers do this and pebblehost is like a sponsor for them. They get lowered fees and some even get paid for doing it, depending on the size of the server

Then you’ve got a dirty mind kid. You can clearly see what I mean. A younger audience wouldn’t have much knowledge of how it works and would just use their parents card. They wouldn’t know much about pricing so you could scale it up.

I am not saying predatory in the meaning of a paedophile or sexually.
I am using the word predatory in the context of its definition "seeking to exploit others", sure it would get you more money but if you are going out of your way to charge children and uneducated people more, that's just bad business.

Servers have always exploited children into buying shit on their servers that’s worth nothing. At least with a server they’re actually getting something that’s worth money and you could scale your prices up more because you would have less competition. It’s not bad business at all, and you would be silly not to do it.
