Hey Minecraft Market, while thinking about the current business model almost every company in the hosting business currently uses we come to one realization:

Everyone is doing it wrong.

So why do they all use the same model?
Well, it is a sure fire way at quick/easy money, however, it will never create a lasting company.
You think you could do any better?!
Of course, I have gone through almost 4 years of extended education (college) just to learn how to create an effective plan for a company!
So what do you need me for?
Well, college is not cheap. In fact, it has cost me over $50,000, you would be responsible for placing some of the needed money into the fund. You will also need to be a hardworking manager with a surplus of time and experience in this field of work.

It reached the point when only a few companies (with this business model) will succeed, the ones who started earlier. That is a fact.

You can not copy almost exactly what someone has done before you and expect to profit.

Actually no, many companies are now making positive income (their clients are paying costs) but they are still paying off a huge "debt" from when they first started. This is one side effect of this particular plan.

Normal Hosting companies cost 1-5k a year

Profit won't come in right away so expect 2-10k loss until you get $5 profit

I don't think 60k debt is better than 50k

You shouldn't expect income right away, this is true. But if you follow in the same footsteps of everyone else, you will have more loss than you could have.

It's the consumer. And 80% of the time they won't give a shit about anything, other than prices, and if they can act like they're a big server on it.

You have to target the right demographic, I do for my personal side hobby and it's quite profitable.

I charge $599/yr for local businesses.
