Hello,
As I've explained multiple times already $0.50/GB is not a healthy price. It's impossible to run a company at that price and still maintain a good profit margin due to the fact PayPal fees are already $0.30 + a few % of the total amount. You also need to expect less performance from a server as most host that sell at that price oversell a lot of maintain a bit of profits or put a lot of clients on 1 machine. You are probably better of looking at hosts who sell at $1.5+/GB.
Conclusion:
You get what you pay for, if you pay more you can generally expect better performance and if you pay less you get less performance.
Looking at your plans, I have a few questions about your player hosting do you guys have live chat?Hello,

I don't think its healthy for any company to lose profits. I dont see a reason for selling at $0.50/GB if you dont make any profit, or a really, really, really low profit.Xaos, you have a point. But some companies are run by larger people who can afford to lose profit, i.e peach and fastsrv
They may be a subsidiary with a much larger company keeping them alive.I don't think its healthy for any company to lose profits. I dont see a reason for selling at $0.50/GB if you dont make any profit, or a really, really, really low profit.

It's called not reselling and owning your hardware. This is impossible if the host is trying to make profit
It's called not reselling and owning your hardware.
Besides, the mentioned businesses don't own their hardware.
We own our hardware and IP blocks (you are welcome to check this here: https://ipinfo.io/AS204613/185.227.69.0/) in the Netherlands at Serverius. The only thing that is being resold is our cPanel webhosting in the United Kingdom which will be replaced with hosting in the Netherlands once we launch our NL location (ETA 2-4 weeks) and our Premium Hosting in France.
Regarding PeachHost; The servers are indeed partially owned and partially rented out - The Canada location is hosted through OVH and the US location is hosted through an owned server (as far as I'm aware of).
Best regards,
Florian
Sorry about me being not properly informed before making a statement. I knew Peach Host didn't own their hardware and made an assumption from there. My apologies.

Honestly get what you pay for. For $0.50/gb you're going to get shared hosting on a 5-year-old toaster of a server. Even at $1/gb, you're going to have a really shitty experience.
They may be a subsidiary with a much larger company keeping them alive.
