Hello. I know hostings in South America are hard to find, and that probably none of you have any proxies here, but I may as well try.

I live in Uruguay and I can get a VPS with 8gb ram and decent bandwith/cpu for $30~ monthly, just want to see if any of you can offer something else. I do not care if it is not a VPS or that it doesn't have DDoS protection since I'm only going to host a minecraft server to play with 4 or 5 friends once 1.16 comes out. Host should be as close as possible to Argentina/Uruguay.

Since the only host I found and purchased in SA ($15 monthly, 8gb) hasn't worked out because world gen is absolute trash I have to give up looking for a south america proxy. I need a Miami or somewhere close to the south-east side of US. If you could advise on what specs I should look for I would appreciate it. My goal is to host a private SMP with 5-6 friends in 1.16 vanilla. Since we need fast world gen to use elytras and such, I guess I need good single thread perfomance, right? Guessed 8gb was needed to keep the world loading alright along with other technical minecraft farms.

I am still in need of a good hosting. I don’t expect less than $15 monthly, don’t worry about that. I need to have a view distance of at least 12 chunks and different areas of the map loaded at all times, since we are getting 5-6 players online.
