Hello,
So currently I'm hosting my server through a company called Vultr (on a few VPS machines). I've been looking around trying to find a better host. I've come across this one host and I'd like to see peoples opinions on the host.

Please do not post here telling me about your hosting service as I am only wanting to see opinions about this individual host.

Host: https://www.nocix.net/game-dedicated-servers/

(I was unsure as to where to post this, hopefully I'm in the right section.)

Their network uptime isnt great and they dont offer any DDoS protection. Main reasons I switched from them a long time back

Nocix isn't that great. As stated previously, they don't have any DDoS protection and get frequent outages. For some of the said outages they won't take responsibility either while it's clearly their fault.

SYS is great for a game dedi: https://www.soyoustart.com/us/game-servers/

Great pricing, but not the best for game servers. They use a network blend of Cogent and Hurricane Electric, both very low end providers that tend to have congested routes. They have also had several power outages.

FYI - NOCIX, Datashack, and WholeSaleInternet are now the same company.

We used to have a node with them, they're really not the best provider to deal with.
The support is pretty fast, although the whole infrastructure is extremely old.

TL;DR Don't use them if you're focused on having a proper network and uptime for your service.
Otherwise, it is a great low-budget provider.
