Heyo,

It seems that a sudden surge of people have been making free things such as podcasts and all to create and drive attention towards them, especially when inviting youtubers, then using that short-term fame to try to get free developers and designers for their projects.

I personally feel this sort of activity is not only manipulative but also rude and dishonest. Imagine using something you made for a community to be built on, you asking the same people to do free work for something else than this which will only benefit yourself is very similar to being a choosing beggar.

My point is: I feel people are attempting to manipulate others by using “Youtube clout” as an excuse. Don’t fall for it.

I mean even some well known YouTubers take full advantage of their position to get free stuff from other people. It’s always a shame but that’s the world we live in.

this is literally almost word for word what my service teams thread was my god
Except it has nothing to do with service teams and isn’t anywhere near word for word with your post.

It is and you can easily change out one word to change the entire topic
It’s really not. This is about youtubers manipulating people and your thread was about how service teams aren’t necessary.

Worded the same does not mean same topic[DOUBLEPOST=1559178893][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm not going to bring fame to a copied thread any longer with replies, so I'm leaving it at this. PM me to talk more.
It’s not worded like yours at all though?

Artists have it real rough.
Not just artists. Developers too. I just had a... situation earlier like this. It’s unbelievable how many choosing beggars there are.

This is essentially the same thing as "doing it for the recognition", an extremely common business practice that you should NEVER fall for. Andrei Terbea was in a situation like this with Kylie Jenner, and it appears to be what Jake Paul is trying to do right now with his unpaid full-time intern. Do work for pay/benefits. The "recognition" you'll get is practically nonexistent, and will fade away quickly.
