How big of a server can $2000 get?

How big of a factions or hfc server could I get with $2000?
Considering the setup is also high quality.

I'd say make your own server, as buying one could lead to the players following the owner. I'm spending around 10k$ on advertising on a completely new server which is hopefully going to get me around 600+ players and I only spent around 1.5k$ on the setup of the actual server.

You can buy a custom gamemode from a good developer like Mat, for around 1000$ then get a video from a youtuber who has like 2mill subs for like 750$ a video.


So that's 250$ for hosting and a website, which is definitely do-able.

That may get lots of players but I don't think u will make that much money back, especially since eula

2mill subs and 10k towards advertisement with even 2k spended on advertising you can make that back easily and have a big pb. With 2mill youtubers though and 10k towards advertisement there is no doubt it can be made back.

If I were you I would buy a well setup server which looks professional with a 40 - 50 playerbase for around $1.5k and spend the rest on advertising. If the server is well setup you could expand it to 100+ if you know how to spend the rest of you budget.
