If he wants to drop a rack on a skateboard, let him. It probably isn't the best way to spend the money, but if it makes him happy then I say go for it. :tup:

Also, if you want to earn money I would suggest getting a part-time job. It doesn't require any particular skills and you don't need to put up any money to begin with. If you have money to invest, you could try account flipping but I wouldn't suggest it.

Lifes not about waiting it's about having fun. If he makes the money (and doesn't scam people for it) then I see no reason why he shouldn't. Lifes about enjoyment, especially whilst your young.
Try get a part time job mate, but before you buy it ask yourself if it will really make you happy
