This is how to check how much rep someone has.
Most of the time, you want to click the rep number to see all of the rep. If most of the reps are given by low rep members with something like "Vouch, gave free item" then I wouldn't really consider them trustworthy. 25+ is somewhat trustworthy (also look at their message count) but 50+ with a rank or two is pretty trustworthy. If you are doing any deal where you don't feel comfortable trading with them, use the Middle Man section to get any free/paid MM.
