How do I get more people into my server?

i own a server and have trouble getting people to stay and play, also most people join and ask for staff then leaves when I say no or you have to play for a few days. Please help me, ip is mc.mcancalagon.com or pvp.mcancalagon.com <--- that one isn't working atm

Try getting the Spigot version that allows both 1.7 and 1.8 clients to connect.

Oh, never knew that existed, maybe it will help. May I ask what version it is?
