so ive been scammed twice this month by people who were highly reputable, one who was mm’ing a deal for me and the other was buying an account from me. THIS DOESNT STOP HAPPPENING, if anyone has any advice on how to stop being a retard (me) and stop getting scammed then pls let me know, thanks !
You’re a nice guy and all but I genuinely laughed out loud when I read the title.[DOUBLEPOST=1553688181][/DOUBLEPOST]And tbh in late 2018 one guy farmed 80-something pos rep from Spotify accounts then got banned for ban evading.

Honestly never seen the point of using MM's, to me it just seems like an extra risk. I'm just cautions when I buy stuff, and ALWAYS require payment first when I sell stuff.
If the user doesn't trust me to pay first then that's not my problem and ill just wait for someone who does.

Been scammed like twice since I joined over 4 years ago, but I won both disputes anyways - so idk dood just dont be stupid
it eliminates the risk of not getting your end of the trade when dealing with an untrusted member, say seller (dubbed A) has 2 rep and buyer (dubbed B) has 30 rep, if neither side wants to go first a middleman can be used, A sends the account to the MM with say 50 rep (dubbed C), C secures the account, B sends A money, C sends B account.

You can't trust anyone on this site which is why I only accept btc instead of paypal doesn't matter who it is. If even Middleman scam then you know that something is wrong...

People are using mms that joined a few months back, like use at least a little common sense.

And then MM can scam both instead..
Its just not a good solution, atleast not for me. I'd never use a middleman and I'd never go first when selling stuff. But thats just me tho.

No, only one would get scammed, and that's if they used an untrustworthy middleman. That's why the more valuable the account, the more trusted you need the MM to be.

No middlemen are trustworthy imo, which is why I'll never use one.

who in the world do you deal with then? if you can't trust people like 1337, with nearly 250 rep and 65k+ in deals, how can you trust a normal buyer?

People usually with high stakes won’t scam. For example, people who are already making a lot of money on this site won’t scam because it’s just not worth it.

Pay attention to certain people and make an educated guess on what they would really exit scam with. For example, someone who’s selling accounts and is making around $300-$400 a day off selling won’t exit scam for a $20 gift card.

But ideally, you want to use a middleman w/ all deals as much as possible, and if they refuse, remember who looks suspicious; them.

Also, reputable server owners, people who have proven to be successful on the market, and those who have been here for the longest won’t usually scam for lower amounts.

Even before getting scammed, there are multiple precautions you can take to avoid being exit scammed (I.e: Using a VPN to purchase, G&S)

It really depends on how much money is at risk. Ask yourself these questions before committing to a service/product:

- Would it really be worth it for this person to scam me out of this?

- Is a middleman needed for someone of high rep?

- How much is at stake for this person? What are the potential repurcussions of them scamming me?

- Have I done my research about this person and their reputability on the market?
