They're just really damn expensive, the cheapest one I could find was 30 dollars a year ;-;

.gg is pretty expensive to register - not really a way around it aside from registrar special deals when they come.

The only way to get them for a reasonable price is to buy from a private seller who wants it gone, otherwise you're looking at the 70 dollar price tag area at most registrars (varies throughout).
