How do you feel when...

I sometimes look around the web development forum, the arts forum, etc on this website and I often see people give away vouch copies which is normal. But sometimes I see the person putting in a lot of effort and work into the piece and all they get is the word, “Vouch” in return.

It’s just something I’ve observed recently, how do you feel if you get that type of response?

I like it, when people vouch for me I feel a sense of pride I gave them a good deal or setup, and other users can see that I am a good person to work with.

Also, as Friendly said above, a free bump is always nice.[DOUBLEPOST=1605365270][/DOUBLEPOST] - Had to do this since MCM is NOT imbedding my image!!!

I feel like I was taken advantage of, even when the person isn't grateful with what I have given them they feel like they deserve the higher honour which is just ridiculous

I’m not talking about a vouch with an explanation, I just mean when people just say the word “vouch” in return for hard work. Because personally, i feel that there should be some sort of explanation of the vouch instead of only saying the word

They mean, for example you worked for an hour for a persons project and all they give in return is this:

In that case, no, I don't really like it. I wish they put an explanation why they vouched. Just saying that word for the work they made just doesn't make you feel that great since you spent a lot of time on it.

Yeah I absolutely agree I don’t mind if I was paid.

I feel like if vouching or recommending a company on MC-M, it needs to be more in-depth. Ngl it aint hard tojust have a few friends all write “Vouch”, like a bit of detail does go a long way IMO.

I honestly don't like when poeple ask .e for vouch copies I'll spend an 2+ on something and only get a phew messages in return

It's obviously not all that nice.
I mean if a company gave away their products to influencers for reviews and all they got was a 3 second video with them saying "It's Ok", it wouldn't be all that great.
But perhaps vouch terms (how lengthy and in-depth the review should be) should be communicated in advance?
