I've seen people on here getting 70+ people on launch day, and I have no idea how.
What's the secret?

Get a trailer // get yters to upload it (you can do this free by getting smaller yters and just more of em for items on the server)

Hire big yters (not 100% needed but does boost it)

have a good economy. if you have to p2w to even start as a small server it wont last

Well, if this is your first launch of a server, it's very unlikely it will be a huge hit right off the bat.

Unless you've invested massive money into advertising, got a few sizeable Youtubers on your back and a decent following already.

Chances are you'll not make a huge cut on launch day.
It's no secret that the server business is a competitive one, 100s of new MC startups every week, it's seriously brutal.

So have a NEW, INNOVATIVE idea for an MC server, develop it well, BETA Test it with some people you know won't leak everything or break everything, get some ads out there and possibly a Youtuber and most importantly, start building a community BEFORE launch, sneak peaks etc so that they are there for you to rely on Launch day...hype is important

There is no right way to do it, but there's a right way to try it. That my friend is called innovation.
