How do you get someone to manage your console without having them greif everything?

I want to a make a minecraft server but I know I won't always be there to fix things and add things that are needed through the console/ftp. But how can I find a reliable person that I could trust with the console to help with these things?

Sucks that none of my friends really play minecraft and the ones that do, don't have any experience on plugins/servers at all. So I guess paying reputable people on here looking for this type of job would be my best bet then?

Honestly, as long as you keep up on the bugs and things like that, you should not need another person managing the backend of the server.
