How do you grow discord server without paying?

I've recently created a brand new discord community.. i'd like to grow it without paying because i don't have money.. what can i do?

You could post it on Discord server listing sites. There is also some bots that automatically post ads in other servers that have the bot.

The only free way I know is to post it on Disboard and tell friends to join (don't do unsolicited DM advertising).
