How do you guys feel about Mouse and Keyboard on consoles?

I'm curious as to opinions people hold in regards to the use of M&K on console games. Primarily shooters as they tend to have a greater impact in that specific genre. Do you believe it's a form of cheating or do you believe its simply fair play?

See that's up to how each person feels. Personally I think using M&K on console is a form of cheating in certain games. It gives you an inherent advantage over those using controllers (even if the person using a controller is good at doing so). People do this because either they can't play the game like everyone else and have to rely on a mouse to supposedly "get good," or they came from whatever game they were bad at on PC and moved on over to the console version to improve their self esteem

Well for me it a 50/50 just depends on the game really if its a cross platform i dont really see the problem with it as pc players can plug in a controller and play if they wanted.

Yeah I don't have a problem with players who use them on games that have made the effort to integrate M&K fairly alongside controller users. This like you said is 100% then up to the player on whether or not to choose to play with someone using M&K. My problem with it lies in games like Rainbow Six Siege, a game where headshots are usually 1 shot one kill and using a mouse allows you to flick these headshots faster and effortlessly practically curb stomping any controller user standing in your way.

My friend does it, he is also a bit mentally disabled. That tells you enough

I can only ever use a controller playing games. I even use a controller with Steam playing Minecraft and only have to use the mouse for clicking links in chat or the keyboard for typing in chat. I tried using a mouse to play both Minecraft and Terria but I just couldn't get used to it.

You’ve always been able to play with a M&K on The R6 console version. All it takes is for someone to go out and buy an adapter for their M&K.
