How do you see how many posts you have?

The only way that I could find my count was by counting in postings.

I think both of you are referring to message count and not post count.

message count is post count , while chat count can be viewed ( total ) can be viewed only if you are in the leaderboard ( starts around 3k messages )

I have 460 Forum messages ( posts ) , while having around 10k messages on the chatbox
