Greetings, dear B.B.B users, I hope you're well.

I was wondering, and it suddenly occurred to me at night;

  • How does a server determine the required server hardware?
  • What hardware do big servers use?
  • Amd Ryzen 9 7950x3d VS Amd epyc VS İntel i9 13900k

Questions stuck in my mind. And I couldn't find a clear answer.

How do you think a server determines and plans the necessary server hardware?
What hardware do big servers use?
- Amd Ryzen 9 7950x3d VS Amd epyc VS İntel i9 13900k which is better for a multiplayer server?

I look forward to your answers. I hope there are others who are wondering about these questions. :)

Hello there! In my opinion, when it comes to hosting a Minecraft server, it's important to consider the game mode you plan to run. For instance, a faction server would require more RAM and a faster CPU compared to a skyblock server.

Since Minecraft uses threads, I would recommend opting for an i9 processor for optimal performance.

In terms of storage, I personally prefer NVMe drives due to their faster speeds, but SSDs can be suitable for certain scenarios such as hubs, minigames, and small servers like skyblock, skypvp, and kitpvp.

When determining the amount of RAM needed per player on your server, several factors come into play such as the number of plugins, world size, and game mode. As a general rule of thumb, allocating at least 1GB of RAM per 10 players is recommended.

For larger servers, not just in Minecraft but in general, OVH and Hetzner is the way to go.

I hope it helped you ;)

One hub projesi için hetzner'den 2 ryzen9 7950x 128gb aracı. Bunun iyi bir seçim olup olmadığını veya iyi bir seçim olup olmadığını daha merak ettiğinizi.
usually 150 add-ons of survival and 5 minigames in the latest version and plenty of models.
When I want to raise the bar, I need to use 2-3 128gb. Or I couldn't decide if it makes sense to choose a processor like epyc?

Minecraft benefits from high clock speeds, and the i9-9900K does have a higher boost clock speed of 5.0 GHz compared to the Ryzen 9 7950X's 4.4 GHz. This price is without vat.
