I feel you. I scammed once back in 2006 or 2007 when I was a child playing WoW. Told a dude I'd pay him 30 gold to escort me from Point A to Point B which took like 30 minutes. When we go to the destination I just logged off because I had nowhere near that amount of money as a level 10 ):
