How I was just scammed out of $200 for a OG.

So, I was on a competitor site and noticed the OG section and I noticed the IGN Hang. So I noticed he was selling for $200 because he needed some money at the time. So I messaged him on Discord and told him I didn’t have all the money at the time and would like to pay in a 3 week time basis. So I was paying it off and he gave me NFA then SFA to the account and then when I paid it off he said it was locked. I was confused because why would it be locked? I knew something was up until I checked Lunar Networks logs and noticed he was playing on it 3 hours ago a couple days later after he told me it was locked. So I asked him about it and he said that Lunar could glitch and stuff like that. So in the end yes I was scammed $200 out of my first OG Minecraft Account Hang.

i personally know the owner of Hang and he is a total scum.

I would have recommended asking here before purchasing anything.

Firstly, only buy something you know you can afford there and then. Secondly if something is "under-priced" it's usually for a reason. Thirdly when buying high-value accounts/ items always use a middleman, it's worth paying the extra 5% then getting scammed the money.

I recommend finding as much as you can about the account first, ask questions, search the name and previous names across the different market sites see if you can find information on the history and who has TIDs, OGE etc.

Contact your bank, PayPal will be kinda dumb sometimes... and take the other side even if you have solid evidence. Your bank will not give a single fuck. They will get your money back.
