This is an approximate 1200 USD build that I've constructed through pc professionals.

Here in Canada, it's currently 1450 CAD for me. Which is 50 dollars within my budget.

^ Is the build. What do you think?

I personally have a ryzen cpu but a nvidia gpu. I think that both are great in their own targets. Your PC build will handle most likely anything you throw at it (at 1080p at least)

Lol thought about that. But I really enjoy its features and the design is perfect. Not cheaping out on the exterior ya know? It's important.

AMD is trash generally, Intel normally runs games that rely mostly on CPU very well. For example Dayz and Mc.

You're very late to the market. Intel is trash now and AMD's Ryzen is dominating the market.

Do not get intel, don't know why people are saying that. AMD is a smaller company and is giving Intel a run for their money. However, I do suggest you get a Nvidia graphics card. Ryzen chips are great and the stock fan is actually decent enough for some overclocking, which saves you a good deal of money. Ryzens also give you much better bang for your buck.[DOUBLEPOST=1506862388][/DOUBLEPOST]
Baseless opinion much
Im asuming you never had a high end cpu aslong with a good mobo.
Had my amd laptop overheat a shit ton back in the day. Now my intel laptops have been performing way better
That was well before Ryzen though, they have improved a lot. Unless you have owned a Ryzen chip you really can't say much about AMD anymore.

AMD = crypto mining
Intel = gaming, resale value, media... Basically everything else.

You're wrong. The new Ryzen CPUs, while I would not necessarily use them for gaming purposes, even though at their price range, they're most definitely the better option here. What people didn't understand at the beginning is that ryzen is a Workstation-orientated CPU line (at least 1st gen).
And in these specific cases, I'd gladly take them over intel.

We are talking cutsom-built computer here, and not laptops. In the second case, I do support the fact that AMD laptop processors have/had a big heat issue on most of the released computers.

However, on the first case, AMD did some great improvements and while I still use Intel (mainly due to a short budget in the last months for me, however I plan on recycling a double Xeon LGA1366 motherboard), I do recommend ryzen in this case.
Even if I think the market for them is, as said, more for workstations than general consumer-gamer orientated.

Updated build. My budget is lowered to 1500 and this build is meant to include taxes aswell.

Let me explain. Ryzen 5 1600 currently has the best value for the performance/price ATM. While gaming it may lack a bit, it doesnt have crazy temperatures. It doesnt use alot of power consumption, It doesn't studder in games. it doesnt randomly get 100% cpu load. It actually has a good stock cooler. Not to mention it beats intel in multi-tasking and rendering, etc...
