I use Bitcoin. But currently not on these forums. I just trade with them on an altcoin exchange sometimes which makes lot of fun because I'm only getting more and more .

You need only a bitcoin wallet.
There are different types like smartphone apps, websites and pc software.
And than you need to get bitcoins.
