Straight to the point:

Whats the estimated player count ~$1,000-$1,500 in advertising would get you on the dreaded gamemode: HCF.

Advertising Itself:
We can raise this another $500 to around 1.5k if needed.
- $125 on Discord advertisements to gain a member-base
- $300 in trailer uploads
- $600 in live-streams/Youtubers

Separate Giveaways.
This budget is separate from our advertising budget.
- 1, $50 giveaway to those who are in our discord and in game for every 50 players past 300 that join—up to 5 giveaways totaling $250 at 500 players for sotw. Only one winner per $50
- Steelseries rival 310 @ mk750 TKL giveaway (have both of these spare)
- Evga rtx 2060 giveaway (have a spare)
- 5, $20 giveaways at ~1000 Discord members totaling $100. Only one winner per $20.

Also let me know how I could improve on my advertising techniques.

Sorry for the trash, but it's amazing how many people can't read the thread and just want you to add them on Discord lol. It's not hard to just put estimates here there's literally no reason to add your Discord tags. Either way, good luck with your server, that's a nice budget to have for advertising - not sure how many members that would get you but if you invest it wisely into certain YouTubers then it can go a long way.

Well, for $1000 i can work for you 2-3 months and it might be even more. that's the minimum. it can go up to 600-800 playerbase.

I just want an estimate for my playerbase SOTW and after. Not a service.

I wouldn't recommend going into the hcf gamemode if you're not making significant changes to the game itself. Ie making it fun again. With a $1000 in marketing for a skyblock server you'd have pretty good success.

Go tell that to SagePvP who opened within some months and is doing just fine. They have done exactly nothing different.

SOTW's brother man, SOTW's.
Seen them hit 700 before. Next day it drops to 500, then to 350, then to 250, then to around 50-150 where it stays.

Every purely HCF server dies out after a week, just the name of the game. It has been like that since about 2016. Players just die, get deathbanned, then lose interest from their death and hop to the next SOTW.
You maintain your playerbase once you add a practice, uhc, factions, etc etc etc

You don't understand. HCF never used to be like that. HCF became stale because no additions were made. You maintain a playerbase by making the server fun and interesting and innovating.

Too bad HCF server owners have no creative sense in general and think "hey, I make $20k a month from this shit so eh fuck a man named update".
It's a shame but what are you going to do.

Anyway, I just want a playerbase quote.
From what I have been told both here and offsite, I am to expect 400-550 SOTW & 50-100 afterwards if done right.
