How much does is a shoping/payment system worth?

I am making a website and I need a back end guy to do a shopping system. I will be selling digital stuff (files) and the money will go on my PayPal. How much does that cost?

I'd say it would go for upwards of $300 from an experienced developer. I say this because you are looking for a full-on package management system and payment gateway hook, along with most likely a user management system. Now, I am not saying you could get it done for cheaper from someone on MCM, but for quality work without any exploits, I'd suggest looking for someone from Fiverr or another professional marketplace.

I mean, you could obviously use Wordpress and something like WooCommerce. It would be much cheaper to get a Wordpress theme made than an entirely new ecommerce site.

When hiring someone to create something like this please think about the legal requirements you have to follow to collect any data, making sure it is secure etc. I would recommend going with a company such as https://www.shopify.co.uk/ which will do all the dirty work for you.
