Seeing as my minimum commission is $15, and that could cover less then 10 minutes of work. Id probably only do 3 minutes of work for $5 and even then its not worth my time as id spend more time talking to the person over the actual value of the commission. So in other words, I wont even get out of bed for $5.

I personally would say $5 is not a lot of money in the long run. So say if I was scammed out of $5, I wouldn't go crazy and ruin my day trying to get it back. If that makes sense. :)

That $5 can buy you a condom which can ultimately stop you from having a child, which will cost you thousands in the long run.
Don't underestimate $5.

$5 is quite a bit, that can buy me a couple nuggets from McD's or a burrito from TacoBell, but I would spend up to 5 hours to make $5, especially depending on what I need it for. If I need it for a project, it's worth it, if it's for the new Fortnite skins, it means nothing. But when it comes to donating, giving money to those in need, I would give as much as I have to spare, $5, $15, $100, whatever I can afford to lose to help others out. It's the scenario to me that matters.
