How much is developing a Minecraft plugin cost? I'm interested in getting the price ranges for 3 types of commissions: small plugin, medium plugin, and large plugin.
Prices may vary on my developing experience, so I would just say I've been into coding plugins for about 3 years now.
Also, do people spend thousands on commissions for plugin development? I just think earning about 200$ for like 2 months is a low for a large plugin, do you agree with me (should it be above 1k)?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Charge by the hour. Most developers usually charge $15-20 on MC-Market and Spigot, you can sometimes find some charging $25+ (this includes most people paying developers as well). Pay depends on experience.

If you do the math, a small plugin could be as low as maybe $30 - $40 while a larger plugin would be something like $80 - $140 (not including maintenance and bug fixes). If you are going for something REALLY big like an entire core, then you will be looking at a figure somewhere in the 4 to 5 figure range depending on both the complexity of the plugin and the competency of the developer.
