They make a lot in terms of Minecraft, but in the business world they aren't as dominating. For instance, the shop I work at makes £67k ($104145.47 ) per day, and its just a small size corner shop.

I believe when I spoke to sterling last, 25% of people that bought Minecraft in 2014 logged into Mineplex.
That's not a small corner store if it makes that much per day.

If they make an average of 250,000$/mo then they would gross over a million in 4 months. Due to the Minecraft industry generally having low expenses (no product distribution and the like), I'd value Mineplex at around 2-3 million USD. Although in the end, Mineplex is worth what someone pays.
So you are valuing mineplex at what it makes in a year, what kind of logic is that? That valuation and most of the valuations on this thread are super low. I would say that the valuation of mineplex would exceed 8 million if we took into account predictions in growth in revenue, their net assets including server hosts, contracts with youtubers, and other things that would add value.

The thing is that Mineplex relies on another company (mojang/minecraft) to actually make their money so that's why the price is lower then an actual company without as many dependencies. And ALTOUGH everyone may think that Mineplex is just a rich ass server, you also have to think about all the costs they have, hosting, YouTubers, developers, builders and whatnot. IMO servers that are too big are way too much of a risk.

Their % of profit would still be above 90% regardless...

Hm $104,145 a day and it's a small size corner shop? Are you sure it is a 'Small Size Corner Shop'
Assuming that the business is open for lets say 15 hours a day and each customer spends (7 bucks, I guessed this cause when I go to a corner shop I normall buy like a milk and some bread) which means that every 10 minutes there would have to be approximately 165.31 new people spending 7 dollars.
I don't think that many people would fit in a small corner shop and god that's not even including holidays and weekends :p

Sorry I like math :/ but don't quote me cause I am probably wrong

That's what I thought, I don't think a small shop would make 67k a day xD Even walmart won't make that :D Unless secretly it's a giant russian mafia drug store?
Maybe try googling what you're saying. Walmarts make at least $75,000 a day if they're small and up to $350,000 if the store is larger...
