Well I'd take a guess that there are at least 60K players (non-concurrent)
Usually 10 - 20% have a rank (let's go 15)
60,000*0.15 = 9000
There are 5 available ranks
9000/5 = 1800 per rank
1800*7 + 1800*9 + 1800*18 + 1800*27 + 1800*71 = ~ $237,600
$237,600*0.20 (taxes from gov't) = $190,080
$190,080 - hosting every month (unknown)
so probably around 200,000 lifetime earnings from hypixel

Thats not how taxes work. Hosting might be less if they own the hardware or have a discount for bulk orders.
That’s where you are completely wrong. It was stated a year or so ago that Hypixel’s net value was over 2 million.
No they use hardware in a data centre I believe.
Far more bro, back in the days people purchases above 400 network boosters a day (15$ average per booster) for a good year or two, also they charge monthly for MVP++ and charge money for cosmetics
I'm just going off of the standard tax deduction for ranks only I don't have the time to put everything into account. I'm sure it'd be much more than 200k. I'm sure the amount taxed varies between product to product and a combined measure of that would be more than I've demonstrated.
Yeah I get this. There's too many variables to take into account to pinpoint an exact lifetime amount, or even an exact monthly amount. I'm just going off of the ranks. 200K just from ranks!

They've had 64,000 players online at once. So they have easily over 100,000 active players now (not all online) and probably 1-2,000,000+ total players.
They've made hella money before expenses but yeah. I mean they made a couple 10k for sure but they ain't millionaires.

Yes this is the truth that many people miss when people are saying that "they have a worth of millions of dollars" and "they're rolling in dough".
Yes they may get a good gross profit from the people using and buying things on the server, but the net will look very different compared to what they may seem to be earning.
I'm sure they have salary expenses, advertising (not as much as they used to hence they have tens of thousands of players) and business expenses such as the server hosting (which I'm sure is pretty expensive).
Bro, they are not paying for most of the stuff : builds , trailers, narrating, animations, ideas , some plugins and hosts are all volunteers
