Yeah that'd probably be best, there are other options that are already plenty trusted so they have no reason to go with you currently

Just be more active so that way people will know you won't just Ctrl+W if you're MMing and a deal goes bad.

mistake #1: assuming quantity of rep matters more than quality
if I had 50 rep from giving away a few vouch copies, that would be worth way less than 10 rep from 10 deals.
