I think that if Hypixel were ever to be sold, it would be larger gaming companies and organizations looking to expand markets that would be interested in buying such a server.

Well, it depends...a nice house in the middle of the country would sell for 500k. But in San Francisco (where I live) houses start in the $1m range. For a nice house in SF, you would easily be set back $4m.
