How profitable is it to run a discord server

My questions here is basically the title.

How profitable can it be to sell ads on discord and how many members / reactions would you need in order to start selling. I can invest around $100 on discord ads to grow my personal one to I hope around 1.5k you think I would be able to sell ads and make profit?

It can be very profitable it just depends on how you run it. If you put out the effort into finding ad buyers etc, then you will make profit. If you just sit back and don't do much, then you probs won't make profit.

If you regularly host give aways to ensure that your members are kept HQ/active it can be very profitable but id recommend you go into a specific niche rather than just your personal one.
