How safe is investing on this website, how can u make sure the person you gave the money actually repays

Investments are probably the riskiest things to do on here.

Investments aren't a guaranteed payback, there is a 50/50 chance of actually getting paid back.​

Now, why is this?

1. Companies you invest in don't even know 100% if they are going to succeed, they themselves are putting investment into their company when they spend money on capital.

2. Companies can blatantly lie about their earnings and trick you into believing that they have no money left to give back to you. The world is a greedy place, and people won't hesitate to lie to you to gain profit.

3. Companies can also just take the money for themselves and not even use it for their company. Guess they get the new iPhone instead of you .

How can you stay SAFER?

1. BE COMFORTABLE
Make sure you feel safe investing in the company and that you respect and feel like the management of such company is honest.

2. DON'T GO OVERBOARD
Don't empty out your pocket on one company, even if you think that it will succeed. I'd suggest starting with lower investment and adding more in as the company grows. It never hurts to be cautious with the amount you are pouring into a company.

3. BE AWARE
Be aware of what the company is doing with your investment, how they are getting the money back, and the profits they are receiving. If it comes down to it, form or agree to a contract to keep things organized and safe.

Also be aware that you can easily lose your investment, don't invest more than you are willing to lose.
